Mission of the project

The Odogbo of Omi, Oba Akinyelure Olorunsola Ajiboye (Akinyelu III) was installed as the 22nd Odogbo of  Ode-Omi on August 6, 2020. As he ascended the throne a new chapter began for Ode-Omi Kingdom 

He came not just as a king, but as a visionary. A king with a mission to move Ode-Omi from tradition to transformation, while still keeping our culture strong. Under his reign, Omi Kingdom has witnessed development that our fathers only prayed for.

In Ode-Omi kingdom, our ancestors left us traditions that are more than just rites. They are protection, identity, and covenant. One of such sacred traditions is the offering of a dog to "EMINALE" during the payment of bride price for any daughters of Ode-Omi

WHAT IS THE EMINALE RITES? 

In our culture, when a suitor comes to marry a daughter of Ode-Omi, part of the bride price includes presenting a dog to our gods, "EMINALE".
