The hearts of the people of Ode-Omi Kingdom are heavy. We remember, with love and respect, our own icon, our legend, Honorable. Jerry Akintoye Jamami who died 2025 last year.

Jerry was more than a name in Omi. He was a good man. A nice person. A son of the Omi whose kindness touched lives far and wide. The impact of Honorable Jerry Akintoye Ojamami on Ode-Omi cannot be forgotten.

He inspired the youth, many young boys in Omi looked up to him, His life taught us hardwork, humility, and respect. He gave back to the community. Jerry was always ready to support programs, events, and people in need in Omi. He believed in the growth of his hometown.

Honorable Jerry Ojamami's kindness reached the orphans, he gave to them and kept them in his heart 

He united people, with his kind words and gentle spirit, Honorable Jerry brought people together. He was a peace-maker and a bridge between generations. When you mention "Omi son who is good", Honorable Jerry Ojamami's name will always come up. This is why his absence is deeply felt. Omi is quieter without him. But his good deeds continue 

We honor and remember him. In Ode-Omi, we do not forget our own. We do not forget those who made us proud. We do not forget those who showed us love. Today, we respect the memory of Legend Jerry Ojamami. We celebrate the life he lived. We honor the values he stood for: kindness, humility, and love for Omi.

Ode-Omi Kingdom stood as one during the burial of our good son, Jerry Ojamami 

Jerry Ojamami might have gone, but he will never be forgotten in Ode-Omi. His name will be mentioned in our stories. His kindness will be told to our children. His legacy will live in the hearts of Omi people
