HOW NEW PROJECTS ARE TRANSFORMING DAILY LIFE IN ODE-OMI KINGDOM 

Life in Ode-Omi Kingdom is changing. For generations, our people have worked hard on the farms, in the markets, and in our homes. but progress was slow because of basic challenges: bad roads, no bridges, lack of clean water, and darkness at night.

Today, those challenges are being addressed one by one. New projects in Ode-Omi are touching the lives of ordinary people - the farmer, the trader, the student, the mother, and the elder. 

This is  how four (4) key projects are bringing development closer to the people  

THE OFO RIVER BRIDGE: SAFER MOVEMENT FOR ALL

Before the bridge, crossing OFO River was a daily risk. During the Rainy season, the water would rise and cut Omi off from neighboring villages. Farmers watched their produce rot. Children missed school. Sick people struggled to get to the hospital. 

The completion of the bridge over OFO River has ended that fear. 

Now, motorcycles, cars, and people can cross safely any time of the year. Market days are no longer affected by rain. Farmers can take their goods to bigger markets. Students from neighboring villages get to school on time. The bridge has opened Omi to trade, education, and healthcare.

It is more than concrete and steal. it is a connection to opportunity 

GRADED FARM ROADS: EASIER WORK, BIGGER HARVEST

Most Ode-Omi people are farmers. Our land is rich, but bad roads made farming  hard. In the past, after harvest, farmers had to carry bags of cassava, yams, and maize on their head for kilometers. Tractors and vehicles could not enter most farms. This made food expensive and profits small.

Now, farm roads across all quarters have been graded. this means vehicles can now reach the farms directly. There is less waste. Food is reaching the market fresh. Young people are also returning to farming because it is no longer "too much suffering". As one farmer put it: "The road has given us strength. We can now farm with joy".

SOLAR-POWERED BOREHOLES: CLEAN WATER FOR EVERY HOME 

Water is life. But for many families in Omi, getting clean water meant walking far, queuing long, and sometimes drinking unsafe water. That burden has been lifted. Solar-powered boreholes have been built in different areas of the kingdom. 

Because they run on sunlight, these boreholes work every day without fuel or high electricity bills. Families now fetch clean water close to their homes. This has improved health. It has saved time for women and children. It has also reduced the money spent on buying sachet water.

For the first time in a long time, every household in Omi can say: "Water is near".

Darkness used to limit us. Once the sun set, movement stopped. Security was a concern. Businesses closed early. The installation of solar street lights has changed the night in Omi. Major roads, junctions, and market areas are now bright after sunset. People can walk home safely. Shop owners stay open later. Night meetings and community events can hold without generators.

Ode-Omi Kingdom is growing because the people are hardworking and the community is united. These new project show what is possible when we focus on solving real problems. We appreciate everyone who supported these projects. We also call on more sons, daughters, partners, and friends of Omi Kingdom to join hands so that we can do more in education, health, and youth empowerment 

The Journey has started. The foundation has been laid. Ode-Omi is rising. The future is bright
